Mauritius Oil Refineries Ltd. (Moroil) is seeking for Logistics Coordinator to join its team.

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth planning, scheduling and execution of daily logistics operations. The person will collaborate closely with other stakeholders to ensure a timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to Moroil’s customers.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Plan and coordinate logistics activities including route planning, fleet management and inventory management.
•    Manage a team of lorry drivers and lorry helpers.
•    Work with the Commercial and Warehouse teams to resolve operational issues.
•    Ensure that deliveries are correctly scheduled, deadlines are met and products are distributed efficiently.
•    Assign sales order to delivery teams.
•    Manage all vehicle -related issues with the Maintenance department.
•    Report any Safety & Health concerns to the Safety & Health Officer.
•    Respond to delivery related queries from the Commercial Department.
•    Monitor time attendance of logistics employees using Sicorax system.
•    Perform any other cognate duties related to the post and department.

Qualifications & Experience:

•    At least Higher School Certificate or any other qualification deemed acceptable by the Company.
•    At least 3 years proven experience in a similar role.
•    Holder of a valid car driving licence.

Skills & Competencies:

•    Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
•    Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
•    Good communication and coordination abilities.
•    Sound understanding of Warehouse & Logistics principles.
•    Sound understanding of ERP (SAP)
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, etc).
